There are two parts to this piece, a log that has been stripped of its bark only to have it carved back into it, and a log that has been gutted and broken then rearranged to give the impression it is whole. this is the gruesome side effect of an attempted reproduction of nature. I could not be perfectly accurate, so some of my own nature (error), and that of human kind trickled into the work. In this way, the print became something entirely different than the original.
